The referee ignored MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's protests and gave Ferhad Bolat a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of U21 Senegal booed when MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhad Bolat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gazi Hızır was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kirk Welch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 86th minute, Olcay Orkun Timurkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Gazi Hızır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hodges in the 89th minute of play. In the 89th minute, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Kunter Yasık seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kunter Yasık the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kunter Yasık had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu!
