Czeslaw Marosz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iván Sotomayor's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, one of FC Smolenice:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Smolenice. Czeslaw Marosz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Pachl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ján Krempašský took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Czeslaw Marosz. Czeslaw Marosz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute Iván Sotomayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Marosz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Czeslaw Marosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Pachl, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Powalina's Tadeusz Gierasik got a free kick in the 21st minute. Róbert Ujlacký sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Róbert Ujlacký who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Powalina's Czeslaw Marosz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Powalina defense, Jorge Lixandro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Czeslaw Marosz. The Powalina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Czeslaw Marosz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Smolenice's Jonas Ekelund got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Powalina defense, Ján Krempašský kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Czeslaw Marosz. The Powalina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Czeslaw Marosz should have stopped the shot. Remigiusz Witek charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigiusz Witek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Michal Pachl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Czeslaw Marosz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Powalina's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Pachl came free, but Czeslaw Marosz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czeslaw Marosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Sotomayor, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Ján Krempašský ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Czeslaw Marosz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After the first half FC Smolenice were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iván Sotomayor to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Iván Sotomayor took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Czeslaw Marosz to make any attempt to save it. Czeslaw Marosz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Smolenice's Michal Pachl. But to his dismay, Michal Pachl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 59th match minute, FC Smolenice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Lixandro to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the match, Powalina's goalkeeper Czeslaw Marosz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Riapoš. After some careless play in the Powalina defense, Ján Krempašský kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Czeslaw Marosz. The Powalina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Czeslaw Marosz should have stopped the shot. Jonas Ekelund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Czeslaw Marosz. Powalina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Ján Krempašský dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Czeslaw Marosz, 0-12. FC Smolenice made a substitution. Henrich Jánošík replaced Ján Krempašský. Iván Sotomayor scored 0-13 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Czeslaw Marosz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Powalina's Czeslaw Marosz got control of the ball when Iván Sotomayor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Róbert Ujlacký dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Czeslaw Marosz, 0-15. FC Smolenice's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
