After a defensive mix-up in FC Stadtclub's zone, Bektaş Sayrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Hesse came out of the goal and Bektaş Sayrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when Kamber Hünkar came free, but Fabio Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beat Hagenbuch in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kazım Kuthan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kazım Kuthan stood somewhat misplaced when Beat Hagenbuch came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 31 minute. The audience was convinced that Bektaş Sayrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Hesse was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bektaş Sayrak in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Hesse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bektaş Sayrak in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Hesse saved FC Stadtclub from getting behind. With a little luck, ZorlaGeldik's Kazım Kuthan got control of the ball when Romero Affolter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beat Hagenbuch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazım Kuthan having to interfere. After 42 played minutes FC Stadtclub got a freekick which was hit by Beat Hagenbuch. 44 minutes into the match, FC Stadtclub's goal looked a bit too open when Kamber Hünkar came free, but Fabio Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beat Hagenbuch to make the kick off. Kamber Hünkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Stadtclub getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Beat Hagenbuch hit a great ball. Fabio Hesse made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Bektaş Sayrak sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Hesse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hilmi Koytan in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Kamber Hünkar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Hesse was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romero Affolter in the 70th minute of play forced ZorlaGeldik's goalkeeper Kazım Kuthan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
