After a defensive mix-up in FC Stadtclub's zone, Abe Habenicht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Hesse came out of the goal and Abe Habenicht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beat Hagenbuch might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoni Walaszkiewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beat Hagenbuch ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute Beat Hagenbuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Walaszkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Śląsk Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Marco Amaral. The supporters of Śląsk Katowice booed when FC Stadtclub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yannick Walpert didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Stadtclub's Fabio Hesse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC Stadtclub from getting a goal against them. Śląsk Katowice were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Stadtclub to leave the ground with a draw.
