Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rasmus Göransson to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Stadtclub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yannick Walpert to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Beat Hagenbuch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Stadtclub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee ignored FC Stadtclub's protests and gave Beat Hagenbuch a yellow card for diving instead. There was no doubt that FC Stadtclub were the better team. FC Stadtclub's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
