After taking down the ball on Consejo del Mate's corner Julio Kemen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Valko De Hond got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Bolo Bolaño made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes had been played when some careless play by Errecaborda AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Kemen was slow to take the kick. During this time Consejo del Mate's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Consejo del Mate's corner Julio Kemen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Pastor Ado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Fagildo Pamanes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edmond Verdun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edmond Verdun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bolo Bolaño's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 65th minute of play. Errecaborda AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Ado in the 72nd minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Fagildo Pamanes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Consejo del Mate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fagildo Pamanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Consejo del Mate's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gines in the 91st minute of play.
