Fagildo Pamanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Dan Wennerqvist made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bolo Bolaño. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Thomas in the 22nd minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Necula's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Soroca F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Tartalo in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gustavo Tartalo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amador Venceslao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Orlando Gatti. Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dan Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peyo Fonelleda's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half Soroca F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bolo Bolaño to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Santo Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas was substituted for Răzvan Necula. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. In the 61st minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peyo Fonelleda scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Wennerqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Wennerqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fagildo Pamanes came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Lano. Hugo Orlando Gatti was a little too slow when Hernan Lano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-2. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
