An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Rios in the 28th minute of play forced FC Stinking Dogs's goalkeeper Ondrej Fratrič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Erik Telka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Erik Telka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ondrej Fratrič was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusebio Rios showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Erik Telka notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, FC Stinking Dogs's Ondrej Fratrič got control of the ball when Prospero Perico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Prospero Perico reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ondrej Fratrič. The goal made the score 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Telka was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cristobal Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondrej Fratrič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute Marek Kontoš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Kontoš might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marek Kontoš ran back to his position shaking his head. Ondrej Fratrič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Perico in the 59th minute of the match. FC Stinking Dogs's Ondrej Fratrič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Jimenez in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Eusebio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondrej Fratrič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Cristobal Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondrej Fratrič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, FC Stinking Dogs's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Lia came free, but Ondrej Fratrič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Nestor Cortez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Semeno. Ondrej Fratrič took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Oliverios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Eusebio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ondrej Fratrič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ondrej Fratrič came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Lobos de Carelia's Eusebio Rios. But to his dismay, Eusebio Rios quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Lobos de Carelia made a substitution. Pavao Zadro replaced Cristobal Lia. 86 minutes into the game, Eusebio Rios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ondrej Fratrič was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Perico to maneuver through the defense. FC Stinking Dogs were furious when Miroslav Sedlák was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when FC Stinking Dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Sedlák didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobos de Carelia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
