After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Valentín Laredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Valentín Laredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 15th minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wagner Kill came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frankie McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentín Laredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Prospero Jerardo hit a great ball. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wagner Kill was the one to do the kick off. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Jerardo in the 55th minute of the match. A hard shot 56 in the game by Isaias Oso from a close distance when the talented Edmond Verdun managed to make a qualified save. Errecaborda AFC's players were relieved. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 62nd minute of play. Edmond Verdun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Oso in the 70th minute. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Grzegorz Szamotulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gines in the 72nd minute of play. Diablofaryd F.C.'s Frankie McFrank got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Prospero Jerardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Errecaborda AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Valko De Hond's late challenge caught a Diablofaryd F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valko De Hond helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Valko De Hond hit a great ball. Errecaborda AFC's Rogelio Jakes was substituted for Aírton Urbano. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Valko De Hond got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Errecaborda AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
