Tomáš Krupec hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Miroslav Čačko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Tomáš Krupec managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC rossoneri SENICA's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomáš Krupec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Lukáčik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half FC rossoneri SENICA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matej Maťašovský made a kick off. Gejza Petráš's late challenge caught a FC rossoneri SENICA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gejza Petráš helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Gejza Petráš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Matej Homola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernard Lukáčik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When FC rossoneri SENICA's Jozef Pálka in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the FC rossoneri SENICA and the FK Mazda Svidník players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernard Lukáčik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jozef Pálka's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Peter Lajčin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernard Lukáčik. Peter Lajčin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Mazda Svidník's goalkeeper Bernard Lukáčik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernard Lukáčik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Pálka in the 94th minute of play. If Jozef Pálka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over FC rossoneri SENICA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FK Mazda Svidník throughout the match.
