When Dida do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nights Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida do Valle couldn't finish the play. Antônio Nunes's late challenge caught a Wolfsem FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Nunes helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Delamenin struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Eduardo Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The supporters of Wolfsem FC booed when Nights Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Jose Delamenin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Wart Boffin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Jose Delamenin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolfsem FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Delamenin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nights Club's zone, Wart Boffin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Pitta came out of the goal and Wart Boffin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Jose Delamenin made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Dida do Valle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patrick Goethuys was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Dida do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Nights Club fans jumped to their feet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Dias got free with Patrick Goethuys in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Sebastien Van Kelf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dida do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Smolders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Jose Delamenin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolfsem FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Delamenin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Wolfsem FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nights Club's performance. The match ended with a win for Nights Club.
