Poverimo's Sezai Ehil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Stroobans in the 7th minute of play. The VC Vladsloo fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when VC Vladsloo's Piet Meersmans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Rahmi Ülkem fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poverimo's protests and gave Rahmi Ülkem a yellow card for diving instead. Rahmi Ülkem hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the game, VC Vladsloo's Jordy Stroobans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sezai Ehil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. VC Vladsloo's attentive Mats Vandommele managed to snatch the ball when Mehmet Fatih Dadaloğlu made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute, Poverimo's Mehmet Ediz Mehdi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tibo Van Landeghem. Tibo Van Landeghem yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Tibo Van Landeghem made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Dursun Ali Sufi sent off a good shot on target. Jordy Stroobans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezai Ehil having to interfere. Piet Meersmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Mehmet Fatih Dadaloğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. VC Vladsloo's Mats Vandommele quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jordy Stroobans scored 1-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sezai Ehil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorden Cheepers during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 47 minutes into the match, VC Vladsloo's goalkeeper Tibo Van Landeghem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Necip Fazıl Ilgaz. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erdoğan Arıkan made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordy Stroobans in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sezai Ehil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes of play, VC Vladsloo's Piet Meersmans made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sezai Ehil was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 60 played minutes VC Vladsloo got a freekick which was hit by Piet Meersmans. VC Vladsloo's attentive Mats Vandommele managed to snatch the ball when Berker Yeğrek made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Tibo Van Landeghem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Ali Sufi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VC Vladsloo's Tibo Van Landeghem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Ali Sufi in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Piet Meersmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dursun Ali Sufi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Poverimo's Dursun Ali Sufi got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdoğan Arıkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tibo Van Landeghem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Poverimo defense, Jordy Stroobans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sezai Ehil. The Poverimo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sezai Ehil should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Jordy Stroobans took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Sezai Ehil to make any attempt to save it. In the 91st minute Jordy Stroobans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sezai Ehil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-7 became the score in the 94th minute when Jordy Stroobans elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
