When Pierre-Paul Schepens fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VC Vladsloo's protests and gave Pierre-Paul Schepens a yellow card for diving instead. The referee ignored VC Vladsloo's protests and gave Teo Renotte a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Waulsort booed when VC Vladsloo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Renotte didn't get a good kick on the ball. VC Vladsloo's Tibo Van Landeghem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieter Wiggers in the 16th minute of play. Mathieu Stevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibo Van Landeghem having to interfere. If Dieter Wiggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Gerard Ramps had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tibo Van Landeghem. VC Vladsloo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerard Ramps was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. VC Vladsloo's Mats Vandommele quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jonathan Huygens, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordy Stroobans in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathieux Balckmans prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Jordy Stroobans made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to VC Vladsloo getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Piet Meersmans hit a great ball. The throw-in from Pierre-Paul Schepens in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles. Tibo Van Landeghem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Ramps, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tibo Van Landeghem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Ramps, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, VC Vladsloo's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Wiggers came free, but Tibo Van Landeghem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VC Vladsloo's Mats Vandommele quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luke Philippaerts, made in the 69th minute of the game. When Jordy Stroobans came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the VC Vladsloo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jordy Stroobans couldn't finish the play. Dante Moens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, VC Vladsloo's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Wiggers came free, but Tibo Van Landeghem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Mathieu Stevens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Waulsort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VC Vladsloo the free kick. In the 84th minute, Dieter Wiggers made a precise shot to the right of Tibo Van Landeghem. VC Vladsloo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jordy Stroobans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieux Balckmans having to interfere.
