Martial Van Hoyvelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sébastien Pérou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Corneel Gielens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Tourte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martial Van Hoyvelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou in the 8th minute of play. Corneel Gielens scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willy Tourte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 16 in the game by Noureddine Jacquemot from a close distance when the talented Martial Van Hoyvelt managed to make a qualified save. KFC Herbuchenne's players were relieved. Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Herbuchenne's Geoffrey Jannis got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Camille Zaidi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martial Van Hoyvelt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Dark club defense, Corneel Gielens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willy Tourte. The Dark club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willy Tourte should have stopped the shot. Martial Van Hoyvelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Corneel Gielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Willy Tourte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Noureddine Jacquemot came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Dark club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noureddine Jacquemot couldn't finish the play. Willy Tourte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corneel Gielens's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneel Gielens in the 39th minute of play forced Dark club's goalkeeper Willy Tourte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Dark club defense, Corneel Gielens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willy Tourte. The Dark club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willy Tourte should have stopped the shot. Dre De kaiser hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half KFC Herbuchenne were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Willy Tourte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneel Gielens in the 53rd minute of the match. Corneel Gielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Tourte having to interfere. Martial Van Hoyvelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Jacquemot, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Willy Tourte came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Herbuchenne's Corneel Gielens. But to his dismay, Corneel Gielens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After 67 played minutes Corneel Gielens rounded Dark club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Noureddine Jacquemot kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Angelo Rogiers kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Martial Van Hoyvelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Jacquemot, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Camille Zaidi made a great header on Dark club's corner, it was just that KFC Herbuchenne's Martial Van Hoyvelt managed to reach the ball for a save. Sébastien Pérou kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Corneel Gielens came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the KFC Herbuchenne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corneel Gielens couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Gustaaf Van Camp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sébastien Pérou struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Martial Van Hoyvelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark club. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dark club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for KFC Herbuchenne. Qwinten De Maerschalckx stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Willy Tourte. 0-6. If Christian Dubail had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Noureddine Jacquemot made a precise shot to the right of Martial Van Hoyvelt. KFC Herbuchenne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Corneel Gielens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Herbuchenne's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
