An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Meulders in the 3rd minute of play forced Wolfsem FC's goalkeeper Patrick Goethuys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute Zeemanshaard FC were awarded a corner. Kenn Uytdebroeck went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 6th minute of the match, Jose Delamenin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jef Van Deinze saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Denis Smolders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charl Ceustermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jef Van Deinze having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Jose Delamenin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jef Van Deinze, passed just outside the right post. In the 20th minute, Kenn Uytdebroeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zeemanshaard FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dan Lefevere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Wolfsem FC's zone, Dan Skouten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Goethuys came out of the goal and Dan Skouten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jef Van Deinze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wart Boffin's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Dan Lefevere shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Goethuys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 54th minute, Denis Meulders hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Skouten in the 56th minute of play forced Wolfsem FC's goalkeeper Patrick Goethuys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Denis Meulders could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Patrick Goethuys however easily saved by the left post. Dan Skouten's late challenge caught a Wolfsem FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Skouten helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Zeemanshaard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Skouten to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Dan Skouten fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 63rd minute, Arno Van De Velden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octave Dobbeleir kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Zeemanshaard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Smolders came free, but Jef Van Deinze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Lefevere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Patrick Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Goethuys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Skouten, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Zeemanshaard FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Wolfsem FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenn Uytdebroeck took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Wolfsem FC's goalie and right to Jerom De Coninck. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Wolfsem FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Denis Meulders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Patrick Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Meulders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Goethuys having to interfere.
