Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) KFC Herbuchenne's Corneel Gielens started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Qwinten Vercalsteren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Herbuchenne's Martial Van Hoyvelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Tinu in the 7th minute of play. Martial Van Hoyvelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Bosânceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 played minutes KFC Herbuchenne got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Van Camp. After a rather tough play, KFC Herbuchenne's Bobby Haentjens got a free kick in the 25th minute. Qwinten Vercalsteren made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SK Marosvavsarhely's Dumitru Mutu. Martial Van Hoyvelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Bosânceanu in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Geoffrey Jannis threw the ball into play from the sideline. SK Marosvavsarhely's Manole Tinu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Bosânceanu in the 39th minute of play forced KFC Herbuchenne's goalkeeper Martial Van Hoyvelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Marosvavsarhely's attentive Dumitru Mutu managed to snatch the ball when Gustaaf Van Camp made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liviu Bosânceanu to make the kick off. If Corneel Gielens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corneel Gielens took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Isopescu. Manuel Isopescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nichifor Petrulean hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, SK Marosvavsarhely's goal looked a bit too open when Corneel Gielens came free, but Manuel Isopescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Corneel Gielens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Isopescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Nichifor Petrulean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Marosvavsarhely fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 84th minute Manole Tinu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martial Van Hoyvelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leontin Arotăriței made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dumitru Mutu immediately put the ball in play. After 90th play minutes Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Manuel Isopescu and just under the crossbar into goal. KFC Herbuchenne were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SK Marosvavsarhely for a fine match.
