Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dan Skouten kicked off to start the match. Dan Lefevere received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Willy Tourte came out and tried to block the shot, but Dan Lefevere slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute, Zeemanshaard FC's Dan Lefevere dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Dan Skouten was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 20 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Zeemanshaard FC's Dan Skouten fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Willy Tourte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diederiek Van Den Wijngaert in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, Robin De Vreese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zeemanshaard FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark club the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Robin De Vreese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jef Van Deinze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Zeemanshaard FC's Cesar Winnepenninckx seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cesar Winnepenninckx the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zeemanshaard FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesar Winnepenninckx had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zeemanshaard FC! In the 36th minute Dan Skouten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Tourte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Dan Skouten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zeemanshaard FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Skouten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jef Van Deinze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sébastien Pérou in the 40th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Denis Meulders took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Willy Tourte to make any attempt to save it. Dan Skouten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sébastien Pérou was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Zeemanshaard FC's zone, Sébastien Pérou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jef Van Deinze came out of the goal and Sébastien Pérou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Soren De Worteleer during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zeemanshaard FC's Soren De Worteleer got a free kick in the 54th minute. Dan Skouten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Willy Tourte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willy Tourte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Skouten, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Willy Tourte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Skouten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Skouten took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willy Tourte. Willy Tourte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 6-1 became the score in the 72nd minute when Dan Skouten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Denis Meulders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Willy Tourte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Skouten struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Willy Tourte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeemanshaard FC. Jef Van Deinze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou in the 87th minute of play. Willy Tourte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Skouten went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dan Skouten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeemanshaard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Skouten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willy Tourte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeemanshaard FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
