Willy Tourte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 played minutes Wolfsem FC got a freekick which was hit by Wart Boffin. Patrick Goethuys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Wart Boffin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Delamenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Willy Tourte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose Delamenin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dark club's Willy Tourte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Smolders in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Jose Delamenin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willy Tourte. Dark club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Delamenin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Dark club's Florent Chevrot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Goethuys. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Willy Tourte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Delamenin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Wolfsem FC's goalkeeper Patrick Goethuys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florent Chevrot. Willy Tourte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Arno Van De Velden fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolfsem FC's protests and gave Arno Van De Velden a yellow card for diving instead. Patrick Goethuys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sébastien Pérou, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Florent Chevrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Goethuys having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jose Delamenin was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dark club's goalkeeper Willy Tourte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dark club's zone, Wart Boffin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Willy Tourte came out of the goal and Wart Boffin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Dubail charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Dubail the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Dark club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willy Tourte should have stopped the shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Wart Boffin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolfsem FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dark club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Wolfsem FC's Wart Boffin got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Jose Delamenin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Wolfsem FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dark club.
