In the 3rd minute, Eugênio Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathieux Balckmans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dieter Wiggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Pitta having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dieter Wiggers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Pitta was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Eduardo Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Wiggers in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Nights Club booed when SC Waulsort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Ramps didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dieter Wiggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Dieter Wiggers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduardo Pitta. Dieter Wiggers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Wiggers in the 32nd minute of play forced Nights Club's goalkeeper Eduardo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Celso Loureiro, made in the 34th minute of the game. Eduardo Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieter Wiggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Dieter Wiggers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Pitta. Nights Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieter Wiggers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dida do Valle hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Paranaense made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dieter Wiggers notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Nights Club's Eduardo Pitta. Eduardo Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Simão Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Eduardo Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Wiggers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Waulsort's Mathieu Stevens managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Simão Magalhães in the 61 minute of the game. Dieter Wiggers scored 4-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute Dieter Wiggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Nights Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Dias to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, SC Waulsort's Dieter Wiggers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Pitta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Simão Magalhães, made in the 74th minute of the game. Eduardo Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Wiggers in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Wiggers in the 76th minute of play forced Nights Club's goalkeeper Eduardo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mathieu Stevens came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SC Waulsort fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieu Stevens couldn't finish the play. Dida do Valle hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Dieter Wiggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Pitta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dieter Wiggers went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. After 91 minutes, Dieter Wiggers made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nights Club's Eduardo Pitta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Waulsort's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
