Frans Kølben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Vandkjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneel Gielens in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, KFC Herbuchenne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby Haentjens to maneuver through the defense. Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Vagn Kirkebjerg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Reinhardt Bjørumslet kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ALPHAXIFC's Tony Vandkjær. Corneel Gielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Vandkjær having to interfere. The ALPHAXIFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KFC Herbuchenne were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frans Kølben to make the kick off. Martial Van Hoyvelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vagn Kirkebjerg, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Qwinten Vercalsteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corneel Gielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tony Vandkjær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, ALPHAXIFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Haentjens came free, but Tony Vandkjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Corneel Gielens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneel Gielens in the 68th minute of play forced ALPHAXIFC's goalkeeper Tony Vandkjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Corneel Gielens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Terkild Frost in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KFC Herbuchenne's Bobby Haentjens. With an all-out effort, KFC Herbuchenne's Tony Vandkjær threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Corneel Gielens, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Corneel Gielens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Vandkjær having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded KFC Herbuchenne left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ALPHAXIFC.
