Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneel Gielens in the 5th minute of play forced Nights Club's goalkeeper Eduardo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martial Van Hoyvelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qwinten Vercalsteren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneel Gielens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eduardo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corneel Gielens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martial Van Hoyvelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Nunes in the 17th minute of play. Eduardo Pitta was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Corneel Gielens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Corneel Gielens really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Qwinten Vercalsteren took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Pitta. Eduardo Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Eduardo Pitta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corneel Gielens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Eduardo Pitta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Washington Dias's late challenge caught a KFC Herbuchenne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Washington Dias helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corneel Gielens in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Pitta saved Nights Club from getting behind. Eduardo Pitta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. In the 43rd minute of the match, Corneel Gielens tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduardo Pitta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Corneel Gielens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corneel Gielens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneel Gielens in the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Nights Club defense, Corneel Gielens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Pitta. The Nights Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Pitta should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Herbuchenne's zone, Dida do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martial Van Hoyvelt came out of the goal and Dida do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneel Gielens in the 76th minute of the match. Eduardo Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneel Gielens in the 79th minute of play. With a little luck, KFC Herbuchenne's Martial Van Hoyvelt got control of the ball when Dida do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Corneel Gielens sped through Nights Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Pitta. After some careless play in the Nights Club defense, Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Pitta. The Nights Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Pitta should have stopped the shot.
