Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Corneel Gielens started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Ramps in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martial Van Hoyvelt saved KFC Herbuchenne from getting behind. SC Waulsort were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after KFC Herbuchenne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dante Moens took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dante Moens got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martial Van Hoyvelt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dieter Wiggers took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martial Van Hoyvelt. Martial Van Hoyvelt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes SC Waulsort got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Wiggers. 15 minutes into the game, Kieth Smedts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Waulsort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Herbuchenne the free kick. The supporters of KFC Herbuchenne booed when SC Waulsort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kieth Smedts didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dieter Wiggers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathieux Balckmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qwinten Vercalsteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Qwinten Vercalsteren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathieux Balckmans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, KFC Herbuchenne's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Wiggers came free, but Martial Van Hoyvelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When SC Waulsort's Dieter Wiggers in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Herbuchenne's goalie prevented a goal. After recieving a nice pass, SC Waulsort's Dante Moens tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dieter Wiggers scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martial Van Hoyvelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martial Van Hoyvelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Wiggers in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Lou Uijterhove hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieter Wiggers made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Geoffrey Jannis threw the ball into play from the sideline. SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. SC Waulsort's attentive Gerard Ramps managed to snatch the ball when Geoffrey Jannis made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. 73 minutes into the game, Luke Philippaerts threw the ball into play from the sideline. KFC Herbuchenne's Bobby Haentjens quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mathieux Balckmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneel Gielens in the 74th minute of the match. Klaus Styles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Martial Van Hoyvelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lou Uijterhove made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles. Corneel Gielens kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The SC Waulsort players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
