When Kenn Uytdebroeck came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Zeemanshaard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenn Uytdebroeck couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Eugênio Paranaense took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jef Van Deinze to make any attempt to save it. Denis Meulders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Brend Raemakers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Eduardo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Skouten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Pitta having to interfere. Denis Meulders scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the game, Juninho Branco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nights Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zeemanshaard FC the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Nights Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho Branco to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Zeemanshaard FC's Jef Van Deinze got control of the ball when Dida do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Pitta came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zeemanshaard FC's Denis Meulders. But to his dismay, Denis Meulders quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Dan Skouten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nights Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zeemanshaard FC were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugênio Paranaense to strike the kick off in the second half. When Diederiek Van Den Wijngaert fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zeemanshaard FC's protests and gave Diederiek Van Den Wijngaert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nights Club booed when Zeemanshaard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diederiek Van Den Wijngaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Nights Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Branco was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Juninho Branco hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Meulders got free with Eduardo Pitta in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes in the game, Dan Skouten fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eduardo Pitta having to interfere. Jerom De Coninck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eduardo Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Meulders in the 69th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zeemanshaard FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! After 77 played minutes Zeemanshaard FC got a freekick which was hit by Robin De Vreese. After 82 minutes of play, Zeemanshaard FC's Denis Meulders made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Pitta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eduardo Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brend Raemakers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nights Club's goalkeeper Eduardo Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dan Skouten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Denis Meulders notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Nights Club's Eduardo Pitta. Eduardo Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeemanshaard FC's Octave Dobbeleir managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Celso Loureiro in the 94 minute of the game. 97 minutes into the game, Simão Magalhães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nights Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zeemanshaard FC the free kick. A collision led to Nights Club getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Simão Magalhães hit a great ball. Zeemanshaard FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
