Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dieter Wiggers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mathieux Balckmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Delamenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute Mathieu Stevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Goethuys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Delamenin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mathieux Balckmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Waulsort's Mathieux Balckmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Valckenaerts in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes SC Waulsort's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robin Valckenaerts who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th match minute, Wolfsem FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Schollens to maneuver through the defense. Arno Van De Velden kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Gerard Ramps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Huygens made in the 39th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wolfsem FC's Charl Ceustermans. 46 minutes into the match, Wolfsem FC's Jose Delamenin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathieux Balckmans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Delamenin made a kick off. In the 51st minute Jose Delamenin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieux Balckmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Waulsort's attentive Klaus Styles managed to snatch the ball when Arno Van De Velden made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Gerard Ramps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Goethuys having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wolfsem FC's Wart Boffin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The throw-in from Arno Van De Velden in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Waulsort's Klaus Styles. After having played for 66 minutes, Dieter Wiggers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Waulsort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dieter Wiggers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Gerard Ramps notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wolfsem FC's Patrick Goethuys. Patrick Goethuys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the game, Kieth Smedts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Waulsort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfsem FC the free kick. Kieth Smedts hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Robin Valckenaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieter Wiggers struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Patrick Goethuys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Waulsort. 83 minutes into the match, Wolfsem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Wiggers came free, but Patrick Goethuys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Goethuys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard Ramps's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The supporters of Wolfsem FC booed when SC Waulsort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Ramps didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathieux Balckmans came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Wolfsem FC's Jose Delamenin. But to his dismay, Jose Delamenin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The SC Waulsort supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Waulsort would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
