The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Terkild Frost kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Mehmet Ediz Mehdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poverimo and the ALPHAXIFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Poverimo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Ediz Mehdi to maneuver through the defense. Vagn Kirkebjerg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Sezai Ehil skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 16 minutes of play, ALPHAXIFC's Vagn Kirkebjerg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. ALPHAXIFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vagn Kirkebjerg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Godtfred Mahl managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 26 minutes into the game, Rahmi Ülkem was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poverimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ALPHAXIFC the free kick. A collision led to Poverimo getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rahmi Ülkem hit a great ball. If Dursun Ali Sufi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ediz Mehdi got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Frans Kølben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vagn Kirkebjerg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 39th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dursun Ali Sufi was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Frans Kølben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sezai Ehil was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Sezai Ehil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. ALPHAXIFC's Vagn Kirkebjerg got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Frans Kølben came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the ALPHAXIFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Kølben couldn't finish the play. If Frans Kølben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dursun Ali Sufi scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Vandkjær, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vagn Kirkebjerg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frans Kølben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezai Ehil having to interfere. In the 95thth minute of the game Frans Kølben who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poverimo's Sezai Ehil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Poverimo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
