Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Patrick Goethuys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven in the 2nd minute of play. When Jose Delamenin fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wolfsem FC's protests and gave Jose Delamenin a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Herbuchenne's zone, Wart Boffin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martial Van Hoyvelt came out of the goal and Wart Boffin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Qwinten De Maerschalckx came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the KFC Herbuchenne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Qwinten De Maerschalckx couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute of the match, Denis Smolders tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martial Van Hoyvelt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Robin Valckenaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Delamenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Delamenin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martial Van Hoyvelt having to interfere. Martial Van Hoyvelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Delamenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Wolfsem FC's Patrick Goethuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qwinten Vercalsteren in the 21st minute of play. KFC Herbuchenne were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Wolfsem FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qwinten De Maerschalckx took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Qwinten De Maerschalckx got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrick Goethuys quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 36 minutes, Bobby Haentjens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Herbuchenne and the Wolfsem FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes KFC Herbuchenne got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Haentjens. Wart Boffin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Denis Smolders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneel Gielens to make the kick off. The supporters of Wolfsem FC booed when KFC Herbuchenne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dre De kaiser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Goethuys had great luck who in the 75thth minute grab hold of the ball when Corneel Gielens from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrick Goethuys. That made the score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Wolfsem FC's goal looked a bit too open when Corneel Gielens came free, but Patrick Goethuys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wart Boffin in the 84th minute of play forced KFC Herbuchenne's goalkeeper Martial Van Hoyvelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Delamenin scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martial Van Hoyvelt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jose Delamenin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Wolfsem FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Delamenin couldn't finish the play. Qwinten Vercalsteren hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jose Delamenin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martial Van Hoyvelt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. KFC Herbuchenne were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Wolfsem FC's much stronger midfield.
