Jef Van Deinze made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Florent Chevrot sent off a good shot on target. Zeemanshaard FC's Dan Skouten got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Dan Skouten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willy Tourte. Dark club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Skouten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Dan Skouten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxime Mazard's late challenge caught a Zeemanshaard FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxime Mazard helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Dark club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxime Mazard to maneuver through the defense. Diederiek Van Den Wijngaert kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Zeemanshaard FC's goalkeeper Jef Van Deinze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Noureddine Jacquemot. When Jerom De Coninck came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Zeemanshaard FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerom De Coninck couldn't finish the play. Dan Skouten struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Willy Tourte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeemanshaard FC. In the 24th minute, Dark club's Christian Dubail ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jef Van Deinze. Jef Van Deinze yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Denis Meulders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Lefevere in the 35th minute of play forced Dark club's goalkeeper Willy Tourte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Lefevere might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willy Tourte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dan Lefevere ran back to his position shaking his head. Willy Tourte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Lefevere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Dan Skouten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dan Skouten came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Zeemanshaard FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 45th match minute, Zeemanshaard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diederiek Van Den Wijngaert to maneuver through the defense. Dan Skouten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Willy Tourte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sébastien Pérou to strike the kick off in the second half. Robin De Vreese charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin De Vreese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zeemanshaard FC's Robin De Vreese got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Willy Tourte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Skouten in the 56th minute of the match. Dan Skouten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeemanshaard FC's Jerom De Coninck quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Maxime Mazard, made in the 59th minute of the game. 64 minutes into the match, Dark club's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Skouten came free, but Willy Tourte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zeemanshaard FC's Dan Skouten in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dark club's goalie prevented a goal. Dan Skouten had several of the Dark club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 70 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Willy Tourte as he didn't even see the shot coming. Noureddine Jacquemot scored 3-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jef Van Deinze, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Maxime Mazard in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zeemanshaard FC's Jerom De Coninck. Dan Skouten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jef Van Deinze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Jacquemot, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Willy Tourte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Skouten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noureddine Jacquemot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Willy Tourte was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Dan Skouten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dan Skouten really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. Willy Tourte didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 3-4. Kenn Uytdebroeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute Dan Skouten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Tourte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeemanshaard FC's Jef Van Deinze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Dubail in the 96th minute of play.
