An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Delamenin in the 6th minute of play forced Guayanazes SC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wart Boffin took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho Moreno. Alfredinho Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Richey De Mesemacre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wolfsem FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayanazes SC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Richey De Mesemacre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Goethuys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Wolfsem FC's Sebastien Van Kelf got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nelson Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Evandro Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Patrick Goethuys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Delamenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guayanazes SC's Alfredinho Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastien Van Kelf in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Jose Delamenin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolfsem FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Delamenin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Jose Delamenin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Jose Delamenin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayanazes SC's Alfredinho Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Smolders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolfsem FC's Patrick Goethuys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Paraense in the 38th minute of play. Arno Van De Velden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Moreno having to interfere. In the 44th minute Jose Delamenin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Evandro Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrique Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Alfredinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Delamenin in the 56th minute of play. When Dida Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guayanazes SC's protests and gave Dida Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guayanazes SC's Dida Baptista got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jose Delamenin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Moreno having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Guayanazes SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Cruz to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luiz Barreto during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Wolfsem FC booed when Guayanazes SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jose Delamenin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Delamenin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredinho Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Delamenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Patrick Goethuys made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Dida Baptista sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the game, one of Guayanazes SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Robin Valckenaerts placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Dida Baptista got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 93rd minute, Evandro Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Delamenin in the 96th minute of the match. Wolfsem FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
