But to his dismay, Liviu Bosânceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. When Evandro Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Guayanazes SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Linhares couldn't finish the play. Dumitru Mutu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dumitru Mutu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SK Marosvavsarhely's Dumitru Mutu got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 97th minute Henrique Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Isopescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Marosvavsarhely were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Guayanazes SC to leave the ground with a draw.
