Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corneel Gielens in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tony Vandkjær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Angelo Rogiers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Rogiers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Vandkjær having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Frans Kølben managed to get in a good position for a shot. ALPHAXIFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Kølben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Van Hoyvelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vagn Kirkebjerg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martial Van Hoyvelt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Corneel Gielens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vandkjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corneel Gielens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dre De kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Vandkjær having to interfere. In the 19th minute, KFC Herbuchenne's Corneel Gielens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Corneel Gielens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tony Vandkjær read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. KFC Herbuchenne's Tim-Jan Van der Hoeven got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martial Van Hoyvelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vagn Kirkebjerg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneel Gielens in the 28th minute of play forced ALPHAXIFC's goalkeeper Tony Vandkjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ALPHAXIFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jonatan Gamsgaard hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Corneel Gielens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tony Vandkjær. Corneel Gielens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALPHAXIFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Qwinten De Maerschalckx was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Herbuchenne's players had a chance to rest. The corner led KFC Herbuchenne's Qwinten De Maerschalckx to fire away a dangerous shot which Tony Vandkjær despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bobby Haentjens charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bobby Haentjens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ALPHAXIFC booed when KFC Herbuchenne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Haentjens didn't get a good kick on the ball. ALPHAXIFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Corneel Gielens 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. ALPHAXIFC's Tony Vandkjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneel Gielens in the 58th minute of play. When Reinhardt Bjørumslet fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALPHAXIFC's protests and gave Reinhardt Bjørumslet a yellow card for diving instead. Reinhardt Bjørumslet kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ALPHAXIFC defense, Corneel Gielens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Vandkjær. The ALPHAXIFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Vandkjær should have stopped the shot. KFC Herbuchenne's Martial Van Hoyvelt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Herbuchenne from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ALPHAXIFC booed when KFC Herbuchenne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Rogiers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Schonenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. The KFC Herbuchenne fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when KFC Herbuchenne's Corneel Gielens looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. KFC Herbuchenne were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ALPHAXIFC for a fine match.
