The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jordy Stroobans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henrique Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Guayanazes SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Paraense couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Jordy Stroobans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordy Stroobans took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho Moreno. Alfredinho Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Jordy Stroobans put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredinho Moreno. If Jordy Stroobans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Guilherme de Amaral's late challenge caught a VC Vladsloo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Guilherme de Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guayanazes SC's Luiz Guilherme de Amaral got a free kick in the 29th minute. Alfredinho Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Stroobans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Stroobans in the 33rd minute of play forced Guayanazes SC's goalkeeper Alfredinho Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Piet Meersmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Jordy Stroobans sped through Guayanazes SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfredinho Moreno. Henrique Paraense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Tibo Van Landeghem when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jordy Stroobans was the one to do the kick off. When Alexandre Engelborghs came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the VC Vladsloo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Engelborghs couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd minute, Nelson Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn De Jong might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredinho Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glenn De Jong ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredinho Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordy Stroobans in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Guayanazes SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Barreto to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, VC Vladsloo's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Paraense came free, but Tibo Van Landeghem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibo Van Landeghem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Baptista in the 83rd minute of play. If Jordy Stroobans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piet Meersmans in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, VC Vladsloo's Piet Meersmans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. VC Vladsloo played a much better game than Guayanazes SC and deserved their victory. The Guayanazes SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
