After the first half Brzeźnica Lynx were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Konkoly to make the kick off. If Roman Kasenčák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, FC Smolenice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbert Konopa to maneuver through the defense. Tibor Dupal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakub Lamczyk in the 84th minute. 84 minutes in the game, Jakub Lamczyk dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Brzeźnica Lynx's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mateusz Maciejewski in the 90th minute. A nice corner shot did that Mateusz Maciejewski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tibor Dupal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
