In the 6thth minute of the game Richard Konkoly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Dufresne in the 7th minute of play forced FC Smolenice's goalkeeper Tibor Dupal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Stadtclub's Alkestis Stasinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Konkoly in the 9th minute of play. Alkestis Stasinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Konkoly in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Richard Konkoly made a precise shot to the right of Alkestis Stasinopoulos. FC Stadtclub's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jochen Ziegler took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tibor Dupal. Tibor Dupal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Richard Konkoly scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alkestis Stasinopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lamberto Perktold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Kasenčák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gibson Dürst hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Lamberto Perktold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Stadtclub's Carlos Dufresne in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Smolenice's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Stadtclub's Jochen Ziegler got a free kick in the 39th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Konkoly made a kick off. Jochen Ziegler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibor Dupal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Jochen Ziegler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tibor Dupal. FC Smolenice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jochen Ziegler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Richard Konkolys short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Alkestis Stasinopoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tibor Dupal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamberto Perktold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Lamberto Perktold notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of FC Smolenice's Tibor Dupal. Tibor Dupal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Carlos Dufresne managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Stadtclub's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Dufresne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibor Dupal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marek Chodúr hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jochen Ziegler struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Tibor Dupal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stadtclub. After 73 minutes of play, FC Stadtclub's Jochen Ziegler made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tibor Dupal was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Ziegler in the 80th minute of play forced FC Smolenice's goalkeeper Tibor Dupal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamberto Perktold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tibor Dupal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Flávio Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gibson Dürst hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
