In the 2nd minute, Sven-Åke Abelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Bern was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tibor Dupal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Sjödin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Tomas Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boom Shaka Laka's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Lundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibor Dupal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th match minute, FC Smolenice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oto Hyrošš to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Martin Michalka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Boom Shaka Laka booed when FC Smolenice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dávid Klimek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Lundin made a kick off. A collision led to Boom Shaka Laka getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tomas Lundin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stano Andriščík in the 55th minute of play forced Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Torsten Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Stano Andriščík cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Torsten Bergström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Tomas Lundin came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Boom Shaka Laka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Lundin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Boom Shaka Laka's Tomas Lundin got a free kick in the 69th minute. If Stano Andriščík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fritz Biörkman hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Tomas Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th match minute, FC Smolenice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Klimek to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes, Lucas Sjödin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boom Shaka Laka and the FC Smolenice players grew even worse after the yellow card.
