Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Pascal Dailey started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dustin Thome's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Cadena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Martin Andrade hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clark Lindsey in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Cadena saved Brooklyn SC from getting behind. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Christopher Rowley hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Marquez. 26 minutes into the game, Darnell Watts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brooklyn SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Canalla de Chicago the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darnell Watts to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Brooklyn SC defense, Clark Lindsey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Cadena. The Brooklyn SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Cadena should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Lindsey in the 36th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Cadena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play Brooklyn SC's Darnell Watts was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Cadena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rdth minute of the game Clark Lindsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Leo Finn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Finn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clark Lindsey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jon Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rudolph Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rudolph Thurman hit a great ball. Clark Lindsey in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osvaldo Cadena, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Clark Lindsey put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldo Cadena. 67 minutes into the match Clark Lindsey climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-4 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Osvaldo Cadena. Brooklyn SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Scott Souza scored to the left of an out of position Osvaldo Cadena, making the score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Lindsey in the 75th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Cadena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudolph Thurman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Brooklyn SC defense, Kent Carney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Cadena. The Brooklyn SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Cadena should have stopped the shot. Warren Childers hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudolph Thurman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvaldo Cadena. That made the score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. When Dustin Thome fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Canalla de Chicago's protests and gave Dustin Thome a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Dustin Thome got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Marquez during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 95 minutes into the match, Scott Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Cadena. Brooklyn SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Scott Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8.
