Clinton Starnes scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonah Peck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Cobi Babcock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Canalla de Chicago's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.D. Bajen the free kick. In the 15th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cobi Babcock to maneuver through the defense. The S.D. Bajen fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when S.D. Bajen's Odell McPherson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 24th minute Clark Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohammed Cagle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Clark Lindsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Will Patrick. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Odell McPherson hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play, El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohammed Cagle was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 44 in the game by Leo Finn from a close distance when the talented Mohammed Cagle managed to make a qualified save. S.D. Bajen's players were relieved. Kent Carney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mohammed Cagle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohammed Cagle made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Bernie Rosales sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Odell McPherson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mohammed Cagle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clark Lindsey in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Clark Lindsey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mohammed Cagle was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to S.D. Bajen getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Antonio Darby hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Craig Rhoades got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Clinton Starnes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the S.D. Bajen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clinton Starnes couldn't finish the play. Bernie Rosales got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mohammed Cagle handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Clark Lindsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clark Lindsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernie Rosales to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Bernie Rosales got a free kick in the 69th minute. Mohammed Cagle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohammed Cagle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scott Souza in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Souza in the 93rd minute of play forced S.D.
