Pipon Pipon's Darin Marks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Whitney Pelletier in the 22nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Bobby Fisher sped through ForestFire's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sal Schultz. The supporters of ForestFire booed when C. A. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pancho Cabeza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Preston McCarthy during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Preston McCarthy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sal Schultz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Houser, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrus Keys in the 44th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Darin Marks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Pancho Cabeza got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Cyrus Keys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Marks having to interfere. Sal Schultz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Sewell in the 64th minute of play. Darin Marks stood somewhat misplaced when Cyrus Keys came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 66 minute. After 68 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Cyrus Keys. In the 70thth minute of the game Bobby Fisher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ForestFire's Sal Schultz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Sewell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sal Schultz having to interfere. Darin Marks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyrus Keys's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Enrique Peterson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobby Fisher scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sal Schultz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Whitney Pelletier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the ForestFire players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C. A. Pipon Pipon.
