In the 14th minute Gerardo Beard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Beard in the 17th minute of play forced C. A. Pipon Pipon's goalkeeper Jannes Ruttens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jospeh McNally made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Beto Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Jospeh McNally showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dwight Schrute in the 39th minute of play. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Beard in the 40th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Cesario Irazu took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jospeh McNally to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Beard made a kick off. In the 54th minute Nicky Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesario Irazu came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brooklyn SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Al Whatley was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Pipon Pipon's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Beto Montenegro put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jospeh McNally. Brooklyn SC's Anderson Donatello suffered a sore thigh after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 59 minutes into the game, Bülent Korkmaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brooklyn SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, C. A. Jospeh McNally was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Lanny Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jospeh McNally showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesario Irazu in the 80th minute of the match. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. Dráuzio Barral replaced Gerardo Beard. The throw-in from Benito Morin in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brooklyn SC's Trenton Long. The audience was convinced that Dráuzio Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jannes Ruttens was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Brooklyn SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
