The audience was convinced that Gualterio Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shaki Conn was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Aldo Hawk came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by ForestFire's Lucas Navarro. But to his dismay, Lucas Navarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wiley Boyle might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shaki Conn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiley Boyle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Harman got free with Shaki Conn in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Latorre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rene Harman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Patoruzu's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Harman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Shaki Conn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Gilliam in the 38th minute of play forced Atletico Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaki Conn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo-Luis Butcher in the 41st minute of the match. Ben Gilliam was slow to take the kick. During this time ForestFire's players had a chance to rest. ForestFire's Lucas Navarro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aldo Hawk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Shaki Conn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Navarro in the 64th minute of play forced Atletico Patoruzu's goalkeeper Aldo Hawk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Rúben Verdun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Patoruzu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ForestFire the free kick. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Atletico Patoruzu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rúben Verdun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Aldo Hawk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aldo Hawk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tracy Shah in the 74th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shaki Conn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aldo Hawk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. But to his dismay, Gualterio Aguirre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 91 minutes Atletico Patoruzu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ben Gilliam who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ForestFire's Ben Gilliam to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Hawk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ForestFire's Shaki Conn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo-Luis Butcher in the 93rd minute of play. Tracy Shah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Hawk having to interfere. Atletico Patoruzu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ForestFire for a fine match.
