After a defensive mix-up in El Canalla de Chicago's zone, Jonas Cole stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilbur Hyde came out of the goal and Jonas Cole tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Domingo Lopez hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Beard in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilbur Hyde saved El Canalla de Chicago from getting behind. Wilbur Hyde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Beard in the 24th minute of the match. When Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Canalla de Chicago's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascal Combs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Domingo Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingo Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Dwight Schrute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gerardo Beard made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Joaquim Vilar sped through Brooklyn SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jospeh McNally. In the 66th minute, Nathan Shannon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nathan Shannon to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde got control of the ball when Dwight Schrute tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Barral came free, but Wilbur Hyde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Brooklyn SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
