S.D. Bajen's Duke Munoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. The corner led El Canalla de Chicago's Claude Mueller to fire away a dangerous shot which Duke Munoz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korey Benedict didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Claude Mueller managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters rose to their feet, but Claude Mueller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duke Munoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duke Munoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Lopez in the 21st minute of play. Domingo Lopez struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Duke Munoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Canalla de Chicago. 33 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Duke Munoz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Lopez. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lincoln Hand, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Domingo Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Domingo Lopez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duke Munoz, 2-1. After 47 played minutes Joaquim Vilar rounded S.D. Bajen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joaquim Vilar made the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Vilar struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Duke Munoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Canalla de Chicago. 56 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Vilar came free, but Duke Munoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Olaf Osielski got a free kick in the 58th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Nathan Shannon in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by S.D. Bajen's Andrew Borgers. Thanks to some nice moves Lincoln Hand could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Wilbur Hyde however easily saved by the left post. Lincoln Hand's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Wilbur Hyde skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Lopez in the 64th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Duke Munoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Domingo Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duke Munoz. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duke Munoz should have stopped the shot. El Canalla de Chicago's Justin Raines was substituted for Hugo Hubbard. S.D. Bajen's Duke Munoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Mueller in the 69th minute of play. El Canalla de Chicago's Armando Leobardo was substituted for Claude Mueller. El Canalla de Chicago were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after S.D. Bajen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joaquim Vilar took the corner. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Emmanuel Lockhart hit a great ball. El Canalla de Chicago's Wilbur Hyde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save El Canalla de Chicago from getting a goal against them. Wilbur Hyde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lincoln Hand in the 77th minute. Joaquim Vilar might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duke Munoz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Vilar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Joaquim Vilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Munoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Joaquim Vilar made a precise shot to the right of Duke Munoz. S.D. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Canalla de Chicago had won after a very even match.
