Lucas Navarro started the match with the kick off. New England Minas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Glen Conklin in the 11th minute. In the 27th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Bang Kun. In the 35th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Glen Conklin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Glen Conklin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Shaki Conn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Navarro in the 37th minute of the match. Edgardo Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Shaki Conn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Lucas Navarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ForestFire fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Silva made a kick off. The supporters of New England Minas booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Green didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tracy Shah in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremy Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Shaki Conn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Shaki Conn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tracy Shah in the 61st minute of the match. New England Minas's Zachery Church was substituted for Lalo Rosas. In the 72nd minute Tio Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shaki Conn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shaki Conn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Pacheco went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Silva got free with Shaki Conn in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, ForestFire's Shaki Conn got control of the ball when Edgardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tony Pacheco hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goalkeeper Shaki Conn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Silva. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
