After a rather tough play, El Canalla de Chicago's Nathan Shannon got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Vilar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Rene Harman. In the 65th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claude Mueller to maneuver through the defense. El Canalla de Chicago's Armando Leobardo was substituted for Claude Mueller. Claude Mueller kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Aldo Hawk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Leobardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jonathan Iruinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gualterio Aguirre in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilbur Hyde saved El Canalla de Chicago from getting behind. Atletico Patoruzu's Aldo Hawk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Patoruzu from getting a goal against them. Wilbur Hyde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Atletico Patoruzu's Aldo Hawk got control of the ball when Armando Leobardo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
