Richie Arnold started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Virgilio Kennedy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astrologer FC's Tomas Landry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tomas Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Chard United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Valeriu Tăzlăuanu hit a great ball. Astrologer FC's Kevin Corona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chard United. When Chard United's Virgilio Kennedy in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astrologer FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Astrologer FC's Luther Story got a free kick in the 15th minute. Virgilio Kennedy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Landry having to interfere. If Oren Grady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richie Arnold in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Randall Stevens saved Chard United from getting behind. Randall Stevens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richie Arnold in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Astrologer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Kennedy came free, but Tomas Landry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Virgilio Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Landry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Kennedy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Landry read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Lamar Arthur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Oren Grady could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Randall Stevens however easily saved by the left post. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chard United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Corona was slow to take the kick. During this time Astrologer FC's players had a chance to rest. Lukasz Jazwiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Landry having to interfere. If Virgilio Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richie Arnold in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Randall Stevens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Richie Arnold's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Randall Stevens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chard United made a substitution. Martin Craven replaced Lamar Arthur. The wind increased when Virgilio Kennedy made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, one of Astrologer FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Astrologer FC. When Chard United's Virgilio Kennedy in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astrologer FC's goalie prevented a goal. Tomas Landry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Craven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Astrologer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenico Gallo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Kennedy in the 66th minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Landry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Kennedy's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Tomas Landry had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Virgilio Kennedy from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 72 minutes into the match, Astrologer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Kennedy came free, but Tomas Landry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Landry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Kennedy in the 73rd minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in 孙骋磊 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Virgilio Kennedy put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Landry. Virgilio Kennedy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Oren Grady managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astrologer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oren Grady was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chard United's Virgilio Kennedy got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Astrologer FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenico Gallo. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Tomas Landry successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Astrologer FC's zone, Virgilio Kennedy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Landry came out of the goal and Virgilio Kennedy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Tomas Landry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
