Claudinei Ramalho made a great header on S.D. Bajen's corner, it was just that Chard United's Santos Santio managed to reach the ball for a save. Spencer Holder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Kennedy's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 10 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Vern Park. Chard United's Virgilio Kennedy got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chard United's goalkeeper Santos Santio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Chard United's goalkeeper Santos Santio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lincoln Hand. Spencer Holder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lamar Arthur's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Lincoln Hand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Santos Santio made a huge save. After 23 minutes Chard United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudinei Ramalho who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chard United's goalie and right to Kacper Wasikowski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chard United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 30th minute, Virgilio Kennedy made a precise shot to the right of Spencer Holder. S.D. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Spencer Holder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孙骋磊 in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lincoln Hand got free with Santos Santio in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kerem Aktürkoglu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spencer Holder having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Virgilio Kennedy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chard United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Chard United made a substitution. Martin Craven replaced Lamar Arthur. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lincoln Hand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valeriu Tăzlăuanu got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lukasz Jazwiec. After 78 minutes Chard United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudinei Ramalho who took care of the corner kick. Lincoln Hand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lincoln Hand might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Santio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lincoln Hand ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Santio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lincoln Hand in the 87th minute of the match. S.D. Bajen's Spencer Holder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save S.D. Bajen from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Kennedy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Spencer Holder came out and tried to block the shot, but Virgilio Kennedy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Kennedy in the 97th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Spencer Holder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Chard United's Virgilio Kennedy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Spencer Holder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Chard United played a much better game than S.D. Bajen and deserved their victory. The S.D. Bajen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
