Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerry Soon to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Chong to maneuver through the defense. Bryan Hui made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Rob Toppinen sent off a good shot on target. Oakham's Bryan Hui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Oakham from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the match, Mark Koh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thomas Ravelli. Motståndarlaget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Koh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Oakham's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
