Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Aristide Beșliu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Oakham's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Lehoi came free, but Bryan Hui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Beșliu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asiz Rajah in the 15th minute. Asiz Rajah hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Aristide Beșliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Rajah in the 19th minute of the match. Bryan Hui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lertora in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Honung's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Soon came free, but Aristide Beșliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Lehoi in the 28th minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Bryan Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mark Koh in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aristide Beșliu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Khai Amin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Aristide Beșliu made a huge save. Aristide Beșliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asiz Rajah in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Brogren in the 42nd minute of play forced Oakham's goalkeeper Bryan Hui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Lertora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Hui having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Mark Koh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristide Beșliu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Lertora to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Honung's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Koh came free, but Aristide Beșliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oakham's Bryan Hui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Lehoi in the 55th minute of play. Bryan Hui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Daniz Hsi put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Honung booed when Oakham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniz Hsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oakham were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
