The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when José San Martín came free, but Emanuel Podgoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Erasmo Lacunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauan Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José San Martín in the 16th minute of play. Cauan Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lacunza in the 18th minute of play. Aysan İlbeyi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Traian Nichitelea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emanuel Podgoreanu. CSD Concepción's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José San Martín in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Erasmo Lacunza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cauan Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Emanuel Podgoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lasse Delvig in the 40th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Lasse Delvig had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Podgoreanu. CSD Concepción's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lasse Delvig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José San Martín made a kick off. CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José San Martín in the 52nd minute of play. José San Martín could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Emanuel Podgoreanu made a huge save. Emanuel Podgoreanu made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when José San Martín sent off a good shot on target. After 61 minutes, Delfim Araújo made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ALMA GUERREIRA's Cauan Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Männik in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Lasse Delvig got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes ALMA GUERREIRA got a freekick which was hit by Lasse Delvig. With a little luck, CSD Concepción's Emanuel Podgoreanu got control of the ball when José San Martín tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Männik came free, but Cauan Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes ALMA GUERREIRA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgardo Soto Tapia who took care of the corner kick. Manuel Antonio Amenábar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cauan Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José San Martín, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Manuel Antonio Amenábar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José San Martíns short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Emanuel Podgoreanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Männik in the 88th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Cauan Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Ivo Männik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cauan Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Antonio Amenábar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
