An unexpectedly hard shot by Kandemir Ülkü in the 13th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Frederik in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Dulka in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Martínez saved Fecha Libre from getting behind. Michael Krawczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kandemir Ülkü, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Goral Zywiec defense, Kamiel Stessel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Krawczyk. The Goral Zywiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Krawczyk should have stopped the shot. Martins Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Krawczyk having to make a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martins Palermo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victorino Frederik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emiliano Martínez firmly grabbed it by the left post. Martins Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Krawczyk having to interfere. Grzegorz Jajecznica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Krawczyk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martins Palermo went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Goral Zywiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maciej Dulka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Goral Zywiec players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fecha Libre.
