Patricio Saz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Patricio Saz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, La Salle S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Rosser to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Tomasini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Saz having to interfere. Iratzeder Betanzos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ruy Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Alfredo Tomasini reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patricio Saz. The goal made the score 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Escobar to make the kick off. Iratzeder Betanzos came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ruy Berger could save by the left post. 58 minutes into the game, ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Saz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 62 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Tomasini. Ruy Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Furman Terrazos in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Richie Ason made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Saz. La Salle S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 67 minutes of play, ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Saz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute, Brais Lahoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Richie Ason scored 10-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Saz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Llorienzo Garcidueñas charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Llorienzo Garcidueñas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Llorienzo Garcidueñas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alfredo Tomasini fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALIANZA 1901's protests and gave Alfredo Tomasini a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Tomasini to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Alfredo Tomasini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Saz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Cotrofe's late challenge caught a ALIANZA 1901's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Cotrofe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, La Salle S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Cotrofe to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, La Salle S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tomasini came free, but Patricio Saz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brais Lahoz in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Saz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that ALIANZA 1901 were the better team. ALIANZA 1901's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
